Bethesda ends work on Skyrim, now I wait for Skyrim GOTY.

Today on Bethesda's official blog, they announced all work with exception to some patches, on skyrim has ended. From the BethBlog-

"Skyrim has been a labor of love for us since we started designing it in 2006. We never imagined it would become the phenomenon it has. And that is because of you, the fans. It was all of you who made it a success. We can’t thank you enough for embracing the game, spreading the word, and making it your own.

For the last year and a half we’ve been working on new content for Skyrim; from the game updates, Creation Kit, Steam Workshop, Kinect support, to DLCs. Parts of our team have also been in pre-production on our next major project, and that game is at the point where it requires the studio’s full attention to make it our biggest and best work yet.

Even though we’re moving on, we’ll still have minor updates to Skyrim as needed. We’ve invested so much of ourselves into Skyrim and will never truly say goodbye to it.

We loved hearing your stories, your in-game triumphs, and your suggestions. One thing stuck out to us through those emails, letters, and postings. And that is – video games matter. They’re as important to you as they are to us. It’s not just about entertainment, it’s about your time. And you chose to spend it with our game.

Thank you again for all your support. We hope you stay engaged in the gaming community here and elsewhere. Keep spreading the word. Games are the world’s best entertainment because they can do what other forms cannot – fill you with the wonder of exploration and the pride of accomplishment. Skyrim has been both a celebrated and a disappointing game. If you owned the PS3 version, you have the right to be disappointed, with save problems and a long long delay for the release for DLC. That is the reason why I borrowed the Xbox 360 version from the library. Surly Bethesda will release a Skyrim Game Of The Year Edition like they have done with the last two Elder scrolls games, with all the DLC included. The developer is moving on to The Elder Scrolls Online and a new project, most likely a next gen elder scrolls. 

Bethesda announces DOOM 3 BFG edition for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC

Today, Bethesada Software announced DOOM 3 BFG edition for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. It will include DOOM 3, it's expansion resurrection of evil, a new level called the "Lost Mission" and classics DOOM and DOOM 2. No release date or price has been announced, but I hope it's under $60

Epic Games working on PC exclusive Game

Epic Games and it well know lead designer cliffy b, announced at PAX East that they are working on a PC only title. No details were given but it could be many things. This new "PC only title" could be the next game that put Epic games on the map and it's main graphics engine name shake,

Yes, this new game will be Unreal 3, and it will be powered by the Unreal engine 4. This is the reason why it's not being made for the current gen on consoles, they don't have the power to run next gen graphics unlike PC games. But don't worry, I'm sure whatever this game really is, it will find it's way to the next PS or Xbox console.

Rambo game in the works

Reef Entertainment (yea, never heard of them till today) has gained the rights to make a Rambo game for 360,   PS3, and PC. There will be multiple Rambo games unless, you know...the first one sucks ass.  Nothing concrete yet, I expect it out next year, and a very likely M rated game, the Rambo movies are very violent, the games should be as well.
