My picks for the best of E3 2012 Day 1

E3 2012 is in full swing, many great things were introduced into the world yesterday, like xbox smartglass and sony's wonderbook. Here are my picks for the best of Monday, starting with the game that stole the show, ubisoft's watch_dogs:

My next pick is Playstaion-All starts Battle Royale

next pick is gear of war judgement:

the next pick is the last of us

my next pick is south park: the stick of truth:

And finally my last pick is Halo 4

Watch_Dogs is so far my pick for best surprise and game at this years E3 so far. Not impressed with Microsoft's entertainment offers, I'm passing on IE on xbox. And wonderbook does not appeal to me at all. Looking forward to Nintendo press conference today.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 [360, PS3, PC]

There will be more games not mention here, like a slew of more Wii U launch games. Also many more Kinect games (possibly Kinect sports 3, yea go ahead and beat the dead horse), and a Halo 4 subscription based program like call of duty elite (it’s all the rage now). As for new consoles outside of Wii U, even though they say “NO NEW CONSOLES THIS E3” I say it’s 40/60 they get a mention, no showing of the console or a video representation of its graphics, but won’t be surprised a PS4 or a Xbox What-you- ma-call it pops up.

Wii U, the next gen console war has begun!

The Nintendo Wii U was revealed to the world yesterday, & the gaming public was amazed. The wii U features a screen on the controller. It is 6.2 in 16:9 (yea HD, most likely 720p), dual analog stick a,b, x,y, lb,rb, and zl/zr buttons. A stylus, rumble features, motion controls, and a power button.Wii games, controllers, and accessories will work with wii u. Wii u will have built in flash memory, but you can add more via SD cards or a USB hard drive via the 4 usb 2.0 slots. Game wise a mario game was featured and a new super smash bros was said to come to the system. You can transfer the game you're playing from the tv to the touch pad, lets not hope that many company make the the only trick it can do. Wii U will come some time in 2012, hope fully before the end of the world.

Kinect Star Wars.... the Real reason you got a Kinect.

We all is was in the pipeline one year ago when they said it was coming, and now we got video evidence. Kinect Star Wars is coming, and it looks great! Pod racing, space battles, oh yea LIGHTSABERS! This could become the high selling Kinect game of all time, even the high selling Motion Controlled game of all time. I plan on getting this, are you?

Mass Effect 3.....he told you so.

In Mass Effect 1we found about the reapers, in 2 we try to warn the universe about them, now in three, we gotta stop them. Mass Effect 3, the last part of the trilogy, looks like it's going to be the best, plus it's got kinect freatures. Can't wait to save the universe....may be the alliance and counsel SHOULD HAVE LISTEN!

The Sims Social....another thing to waste time with on facebook

ok....i like the sims. i plan on getting the sims 3 soon, but this is not for me. By the way it looks, I only have one sim, and I would interact with my FB friends, but if my sim sleeps with a friend's sim, would that not cause some sort of social media hell if one other friend wanted to sleep or in this case woo-hoo with you? I 'm pass this and sticking with cityville, which has the same properties as a virus.....oh and EA.....simcity on facebook, get on that.

Heroes of Ruin Revealed by Square

So you need a 3DS RPG that's not a Zelda game? Well Square got you covered. Heroes of Ruin is coming to 3ds, with interesting Muliyplayer via streetpass and spotpass. More of this game will be seen at E3 next week.

Two Big Name Microsoft Game Franchises Rumored to have reveals at E3

Microsoft is rumored to have to big reveals for 2 of its biggest franchisees, Halo and Gears of war. One is a HD remake, the other is a new kinect game.

Halo HD, a remake of Halo Combat Evolved, which has been in the rumor mill since November may make a reveal at E3. Why a remake? Mricosoft wants to ease the new dev into the hearts of Halo Loyalist, why not use a remake of the game that started it all. Plus some gamers, like me, never got to play the first halo, we were too into our PS2s. I hope this is not a XBLA download, other wise I'll be going back to my plan of getting the original for xbox or PC.

Gears of War: Exile, a kinect rail games which has also be in the rumor mill, is also may make it's first viewing at E3. This would be great for the lacking Kinect games department, in both causal and much need hardcore games. I hope the release a gun accessory with it, just using or hand to shoot doesn't seem right, it would just take a update to Kincet's software. I assume the game will feature different characters that are not from the main gears games.

Both these games will make a big splash at E3 if the rumors are true. Lets Hope they are.

PlayStation 4 has begun!......but it's not PS4 yet

Work on PlayStation 4 is underway . Sony VP and CFO Masaru Kato said in a investor's meeting today"this is a platform business, so for the future platform - when we'll be introducing that product, I cannot discuss that - but our development work is already underway."
Yes, basically he said "PS4" OR "NGC" is being worked on, but how much work is done on it? I beT we'll find out at E3.

What the wii 2 should have

At E3 this year, Nintendo is supposedly going to announce the Wii 2. Will sales have been affected by the Kincet and Move releases, also due to the new motions controllers, Gamers are not even touching there wiiis (or so I’ve heard) So the big N is going to make a new system earlier than it’s competitors. What should this new console have? Will Nintendo make the mistakes like no HD this time? Here what I want in the wii 2.

Hard Drve

This is a no brainier, but for Nintendo, they would easy pass it. Memory cards for consoles are dead. HDDs are here to stay, and Nintendo better put one in wii 2. Along with a HDD, Nintendo should start a media service like Live and PSN has. They could even push it more and include DVR capabilities. And would it be that hard to add DVD playing in?

High Def

It’s they way games are being played, and developed in. Nintendo treated HD like it did online before, now it’s time to embrace HD Nintendo, Mario need to head into the HD light.

Controllers

You can keep the wiimotes, or go contollerless vie Kinect, but you must have a regular controller to play non-motion controlled games. It’ll bring more games to the system (that and a HD) that was passed over during the wii 1 reign. Nintendo could even revolution the controller again and introduce the first touchscreen controller to the world

No more Friend Codes

Admit it, you hate them, and you and many more would love to see them go. Nintendo should go the way of Live or PSN, but sadly with the 3DS having the codes, the friend code will not die.

Those were some of the thing I think the Wii 2 should have. I’m sure Wii 2 will not have some of the features mentioned. It could even have some not mention or even seen before. What do you want the Wii 2 to have?
