Two Big Name Microsoft Game Franchises Rumored to have reveals at E3

Microsoft is rumored to have to big reveals for 2 of its biggest franchisees, Halo and Gears of war. One is a HD remake, the other is a new kinect game.

Halo HD, a remake of Halo Combat Evolved, which has been in the rumor mill since November may make a reveal at E3. Why a remake? Mricosoft wants to ease the new dev into the hearts of Halo Loyalist, why not use a remake of the game that started it all. Plus some gamers, like me, never got to play the first halo, we were too into our PS2s. I hope this is not a XBLA download, other wise I'll be going back to my plan of getting the original for xbox or PC.

Gears of War: Exile, a kinect rail games which has also be in the rumor mill, is also may make it's first viewing at E3. This would be great for the lacking Kinect games department, in both causal and much need hardcore games. I hope the release a gun accessory with it, just using or hand to shoot doesn't seem right, it would just take a update to Kincet's software. I assume the game will feature different characters that are not from the main gears games.

Both these games will make a big splash at E3 if the rumors are true. Lets Hope they are.

Assassin's Creed Revelations reveal trailer

It's E3 season, and the reveals are comming early. Damn I should get the first assassin's creed soon. It sounds like this could be the last one, or they just fucking with us.

Ok. too me it looks like they are sticking to "america can get invaded" stuff like in MW2...and spread it to the rest of the populated world.hence the WW3 reference. While I would love to shoot a frenchmen in his junk, this is getting tiering. Why not china instead of Russia? That was clearly macanov's voice. Why could you just good back to the middle east like in COD4, back when MW was good.

Pokemon Black: the first 34 hours

It's here! Pokemon Black and White, the latest Pokemon games have arrived and like many of you, I'm addicted. I got the black version (chosen because black is my favorite color). So what is the difference in this game than the other versions? Well the graphics for one. It's the best in the series, don't believe me, go across the skyarrow bridge, see Caselia city (pic above), see the Driftviel Drawbridge close, hell see the intro to the game and tell me the graphics are crap. I do have a problem with how my Pokemon are a little pixelated in battle. I also don't like how the X button is now the start button, but I've gotten use to it now. Talking about Pokemon, the new ones look like items, Klink looks like gears, litwik a candle, and Vanillite a ice cream cone. Plus they are all new till you get the national pokedex. No evolution add-on like the last game. Battle wise, Rotation battles seem fun, only been in 2 so far. Now when your Pokemon get poisoned, they only lose health in battle, not when you are walking, and old RPG standard. I haven't token the game online yet, but will soon. As of this writing, I'm training a team to take on the Mistral City gym leader. Pain in the ass levling up your team, but that's what playing Pokemon is all about. I can't wait to beat the gym leaders, the elite 4, the Pokemon champ, and get the national pokedex to transfer my pokemon from platinum. I love this game!!!

Remembering The Nintendo DS

As the days count down till Nintendo 3DS comes here to the states, lets take a look back at the best portable gaming system of this generation.

The original Nintendo DS, big, bulky, but you can play any of the Game Boy games on it. I almost most got a used one of these, but with my first credits card I would get this...

Nintendo DS lite, smaller, brighter from what I've heard, but only played GBA games along with DS games, I've have many a great time with mine, then came the upgrade...

Nintendo DSi, with Downloadable mini games and internet browsing ( which you could do if a regular DS with a separate cartage). Never got one... never need it.... or this one....

But I never saw the need for a bigger screen..... or had the money.

Game wise, Glad Nintendo finally had plastic DVD like cases, I have not lost any of my games like gens before. And boy was there some great ones. Sadly my DS got treated like my other Gameboys.... I tend not to get games for them, but I know I got more DS games than with GBA games. I still need to get New Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart DS, and Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift. I did get both Legend of Zelda DS games. As we come, well not to a close, many will still be playing DS games on 3DS. We can't forget that the DS was a huge step of Nintendo.

DC Universe online is comming on January 11

On January the 11, you will be able to take you own idea for a hero or villain, and save some lives , or raise hell in DC Universe online. Today the release date was released. North America will get it on the 11th, Europe will get it 3 days later on the 14th (probably because all the snow , plus they have no snow plows). The game will cost $50 for PC and $60 for PS3 with 30 days free then a $15 monthly fee. I expect that many will disregard the $10 price difference and get the PS3 version, easier than updating your PC. There is a $100 collectors edition than hardcore DC fanboys will nab up. I also expect that many Marvel fans will make Marvel hero rips off in the DCU, Be prepared to see many "Spider-Man" and "Captain America" look a likes. So are you going to join in on the hero vs villain mayhem in DC Universe online?
